Continuing with my “Conversations” series, here is a new abstract color palette piece. I titled this one, “Thank You for the Story”
My dad’s dad was a master storyteller. He would begin a tale in his special storytelling low voice, and despite the chaos of a family party happening around you, you would zone in and really listen. A lot of times, there would be a punch line at the end and the story was actually a long setup for a joke. Sometimes you couldn’t tell if it was a joke or not. It was just the best.
