Amy Anderson is a visual artist and arts educator. She paints florals, the human form, and local city scenes. She has also painted a dozen murals in the Southeast. Amy attended UAB for Psychology and worked in substance abuse prevention before becoming a full time artist. She is inspired by our connection with nature and communicating with color.

Amy has always had an interest in painting and a passion for teaching and sharing the love of art with others. She began teaching art in 2015 while living in Dothan, AL and was an art teacher at Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc, and The Cultural Arts Center. In early 2021, she opened ART & Soul to allow others the opportunity to learn and create.

She is on the board of the Hoover Arts Alliance and Bluff Park Art Association. She is a member of the Greater Birmingham Arts Education Collaborative. Amy lives in the Birmingham, AL metro area and teaches art classes in the community. She is available to lead an art class at the venue of your choice.
